Create storage in the base, easily access the wall cabinet, and allow children to help safely and simply – the extendable step surface SPACE STEP brings many functions to the furniture base.

The following three base constructions can be realized with the SPACE STEP:

• with setback
• with setback and low base
• flush-mounted

It can be implemented with all box and guide systems and can be equipped with BLUM motion technologies. A 3-layer board (3S) with a thickness of at least 21 mm is recommended for the step surface. The step surface must be slip-resistant, either by using an anti-slip mat directly connected to the step surface or with a slip-resistant panel material.

In the extended state, the locking mechanism of SPACE STEP secures from a load of 8 kg. Depending on the specific design, the step surface can support a maximum load of 150 kg.

A base pull-out can be integrated under the step surface of SPACE STEP with a height of 150 mm to 250 mm. Only 30 kg or 40 kg guides may be used for this pull-out, with a dynamic load capacity of 20 kg. It can be implemented with all box and guide systems and motion technologies.

The components for the pull-out below the SPACE STEP must be ordered separately. The cross profile is mandatory. Compatible pull-out systems with nominal length 500 mm: LEGRABOX, TANDEMBOX antaro, MOVENTO.
