UTP/DUR 600 is suitable for universal armouring on components made of steel, cast steel, and manganese-hard steel, which are simultaneously subjected to abrasion, pressure, and impact. It is ideal for coatings on tools of earthmoving machines such as excavator bucket cutters and excavator teeth, as well as wear parts of rock processing plants like crusher jaws, crusher cones, blow bars, and impact mill hammers. It is also applicable for cutting edges and working surfaces on cold working tools. The weld metal can only be machined by grinding.
