The robust bimetal compound of HCS steel (high carbon steel) blade and HSS steel (high speed steel) teeth is wear and heat resistant. The Japanese arrangement of the sharpened teeth on the edge of the blade is ideal for hardwood. This three-dimensional tooth arrangement minimises heat generation during sawing, prevents overheating and increases service life. The rounded blade tip (Curved-Tec) minimises tooth breakage and thus increases the durability of the product. It is used for plunge sawing into laminated panels or hardwood, sawing recesses in furniture components and flush cutting of wooden components. The Starlock pick-up system allows for quick blade changes without blade contact in three seconds.
