Hollow profile fastening for steel construction.

1. Drill holes with the required diameter and spacing in the profiles to be connected.
2. Deburr the drilled holes.
3. Position the profiles on top of each other so that:

• both profiles lie flat and without gaps on each other. Use a clamp if necessary to secure both profiles without gaps.
• the holes are aligned. Use a punch if necessary to align the holes.

4. Insert the BOXBOLT into the hole, ensuring that the flange is flush and gap-free on the profile.
5. Tip: We recommend using the special tool BOXSOK for assembly. If you use BOXSOK for assembly, proceed to step 7.
6. Hold the flange with a suitable wrench and tighten the screw to the specified torque.
7. Place the BOXSOK onto the BOXBOLT so that the BOXSOK rests on the profile. You may need to twist the inner insert of the BOXSOK to fit it onto the BOXBOLT.
8. Keep the BOXSOK straight and tighten the screw using the inner insert of the BOXSOK.
9. Remove the tool and check the torque of the screw. Adjust the torque if necessary.
