The BXPPABSG350500190-F01 Boxexpert from the Fleet series is a wall-mounted enclosure made of ABS plastic with 2-point locking, which is perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. It is easy to handle and very quick to install. The Fleet series is an alternative to all sheet steel wall-mounted enclosures. Sheet steel enclosures are often expensive to purchase and are very heavy. This often leads to additional costs, both in terms of logistics and handling. In many cases, sheet steel enclosures can be dispensed with for EMC-critical applications. Enclosures from Boxexpert's Fleet series offer an alternative made of plastic. The wall-mounted enclosure housing is made of very lightweight acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), which results in a weight saving of around 50 % for the same enclosure size. Despite the lower weight, the Fleet enclosure series is a robust alternative and has an impact resistance of IK08. ABS plastic is highly resistant to alkalis, oils and salts. In contrast to metal enclosures, the Fleet series has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive loads without any further coating of the enclosure surface. Outdoor use in particular requires the electronic components to be effectively sealed against external influences. The plastic enclosures in the Fleet series have a foamed-in polyurethane (PU) seal. The PUR seal is low-wear and robust against weathering and ageing. The polyurethane is elastic and resistant even when the enclosure door is frequently operated. In addition to the properties of the ABS plastic, the enclosure seal also ensures an enclosure protection rating of IP65. The enclosure is therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
