Each of these distinctive machetes is available in three sizes and features a broad, curved tanto-point blade as well as a solid steel tsuba made from heat-treated 1055 carbon steel with a baked-on rust-resistant coating. Their wide full tangs are coated with impact-resistant polypropylene, making them incredibly durable and weather-resistant. Cold Steel has spared no expense in replicating the look of a traditional cord-wrapped handle, fuchi, and kashira, using modern materials that do not shrink, warp, tarnish, or rot and require very little maintenance to maintain peak performance.
