Product details
The precise data logger uses not only the classic GPS satellite signal but also numerous other satellite systems such as GLONASS and BeiDou to optimize its location determination. Additionally, the data logger can be directly connected to your vehicle to start simultaneously with the engine and reliably record every trip. This is practical for privately recording your own travel routes as well as for professional fleet management.
High-precision location determination is essential for both professional and private purposes. Whether in fleet management, recording the travel routes of private vehicles or bicycles, geocaching, mountaineering, or similar hobbies - the GNSS data logger P-1 Mark II from Columbus provides you with precise location determinations and accurate log data. Data storage can be done in CSV, GPX, or NMEA file formats. The data logger saves the position data directly onto an inserted microSD memory card (max. 256 GB), from which you can export and further process the recorded data in various formats. The device automatically creates a practical folder structure, sorted into yearly and monthly folders, so you can maintain an overview of your recordings from the first data access.
The high positional accuracy of the P-1 Mark II is achieved through the simultaneous use of multiple satellite constellations. In addition to conventional GPS satellites, the data logger also processes signals from GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS. In total, you can access your location via up to 89 satellites and enjoy the highest tracking reliability. 50% of all position measurement points are within a radius of under 1.5 meters, and 95% of all measurement points are within a range of 4 meters.
