More pressure with a Flexvolt battery. The cordless compressor is ideally suited for existing DeWALT 18 Volt XR batteries or DeWALT 54 Volt XR Flexvolt batteries. When using a Flexvolt battery, due to the lower internal resistances of the battery cells, a faster current flow to the motor occurs, so that even the use of a 108-Wh Flexvolt battery provides significantly higher output performance and correspondingly stronger working pressure. For example, with a 108-Wh Flexvolt battery and a pneumatic nailer, up to 1220 18-GA nails can be driven per battery charge.
