The DCD996 NT is a next-generation 18.0 Volt cordless three-speed hammer drill driver (brushless). It offers over 25% higher output power and more compact dimensions. With over 50% longer runtime per battery charge and increased lifespan due to innovative brushless motor technology, it ensures very high work progress. The optimally tuned 3-speed all-metal gearbox allows for a 20% increase in torque as well as an increased no-load impact rate of over 38,000 min-1.

The hammer drill driver is suitable for long-term use, thanks to safety electronics that continuously monitor battery temperature, current draw, and discharge protection. The electronic speed and impact rate control, along with the forward/reverse function, provide additional flexibility. An innovative electronic torque clutch and a precise 11-stage torque module with reliable cutoff torque complete the offering.

The robust 13 mm all-metal keyless chuck with automatic spindle lock ensures easy handling. The three-stage LED light with a very high brightness of up to 77 lumens provides an optimally directed beam of light. The compact design allows for trouble-free use even in tight spaces.

The ergonomically rubberized handle ensures maximum safety and working comfort. The hammer drill driver is compatible with all 18.0 Volt Li-Ion XR batteries (not included) and is supplied as standard in a T STAK box as a basic type (without batteries and charger). It is ideally suited for existing 18.0 Volt XR batteries or the DeWALT Battery Plus system.
