Product description:
The DeWalt DCG 405 is an 18-volt battery-operated, brushless angle grinder with a diameter of 125 mm. Thanks to the innovative brushless motor, it delivers higher performance with longer runtime per charge, more compact dimensions, weight savings, and generally a longer lifespan for the machine. The epoxy resin-coated windings additionally protect the motor from abrasive dust particles. The optimized ventilation system inside the grinder ensures perfectly adjusted cooling for the machine and electronics, contributing to a longer lifespan as well. DeWalt's own Perform & Protect system reliably stops the disc in seconds (<2 seconds) with the electronic brake, enhancing user safety. The electronic clutch automatically shuts off the device in case of a blockage, protecting both the user and the machine. Both safety systems effectively minimize the risks associated with kickbacks. The included guard can be adjusted tool-free with one hand, and together with the also included side handle, it allows for flexible and application-appropriate use of the machine. The machine is activated by a sliding switch with a safety lever, which ensures user comfort during long tasks.
