Product details
RCBOs combine residual current and circuit breakers in a single device (RCCB/MCCB combination). They protect people from fault currents and equipment from short circuits and overloads. The DRCBO 3 series switches operate independently of mains voltage and are characterized by a high rated switching capacity. Separate indicators provide a quick overview of the current operating status. DRCBO 3 can be easily installed and removed. Type A switches are sensitive to pulsating and alternating currents. This function is independent of mains voltage. Switches with a tripping characteristic of C are optimized for circuits with high inrush or peak currents. Standard switches are designed for circuits with a rated voltage of 230 V or 400 V and a rated frequency of 50 Hz.
Features:
- Auxiliary voltage-independent tripping
- Sensitive to alternating and pulsating direct fault currents (Type A)
- Compact size for all rated currents
- High short-circuit resistance
- Green-red contact position indicator
- Residual current tripping indicator
- Terminal clamps with back protection and wide clamping cross-section range for rail and wiring on both connection sides
- Neutral conductor on the right
- Tristable latch slider for easy installation and removal
- Mounting type: Quick fastening on mounting rail
- Installation position arbitrary
- Power supply arbitrary
Areas of application: Protection of circuits in residential and commercial buildings as well as industrial plants with TN-S, TT, and TN-C-S networks. In IT networks, RCCB/MCCB switches can be used for disconnection in the event of a second earth fault. Use in systems with TN-C networks and for the protection of circuits where power electronics can cause smooth direct fault currents or fault currents with frequencies other than 50/60 Hz is excluded.
