Product details
PU assembly foam B2 is a one-component, self-expanding, ready-to-use polyurethane foam. It adheres to many materials, except PE, PP, and PTFE. This foam offers high thermal and acoustic insulation values and is silicone-free. It is ideal for mounting and sealing window and door frames, sealing cavities around pipes, and between roofs and masonry. Additionally, it can be used for attaching insulation materials in roof constructions and for adding a noise-insulating layer to motors, as well as optimizing insulation in cooling technology.
The building material class is B2 according to DIN 4102. Foam yield is 35-40 litres per 1 litre, with a sound insulation value of 46.2 dB (DIN 52210 Part 3) and an insulation value of 0.0354 W/(m·K). Skin formation occurs after approximately 10 minutes, with a curing speed of 3 hours for a 5 cm thickness.
