Miniature circuit breakers from the FAZ series, available in 6 kA and 10 kA. These circuit breakers are single, double, and triple pole, thermally and magnetically trippable, and designed for mounting on DIN rails. They feature three selectable types of tripping protection and breaking capacities of either 6 kA for cost-effective applications or 10 kA for full rated power.

With a double interruption contact system and an internal arc extinguishing chamber, these breakers utilize a latching ferrite mechanism with free tripping. They provide a clear indication of the contact position via a front-mounted toggle switch and have a large terminal capacity of 0.75 to 16 mm².

Compatible with DIN rails and according to EN 50 022/DIN 46277-3, they meet the design requirements B, C, and S according to the new international standard IEC 898, BS/EN 60-898.

Curve B ensures trouble-free tripping at currents of 3 to 5 times the rated value, suitable for circuits with moderate inrush currents, such as incandescent lamps and heating loads in smaller homes and buildings.

Curve C provides immediate tripping at currents of 5 to 10 times the rated value, ideal for circuits with larger inrush currents, including industrial installations, larger buildings, motors, and fluorescent lamps, where faster tripping is required.

Curve S has a short-circuit tripping threshold of 13 to 17 times the rated current and an overload threshold of 1.05 to 1.3 times the rated current, making it ideal for protecting control circuits where very high inrush currents are expected, such as with transformers.
