Surface-mounted magnets are suitable for electromagnetically locking doors. Their installation is simple, requiring no modifications or cutouts to the door frames. According to a letter from the Institute for Structural Engineering in Berlin dated March 24, 1991, electromagnets may also be installed on fire protection doors. The Electro Surface-Mounted Magnet 828 includes a contact for the locking signal (Hall sensor). The magnet features a sturdy aluminum housing and is available in natural color as well as anodized dark bronze.

With counter plate with Hall sensor 12/24 V DC holding force 5000 N, anodized in aluminum color. The nominal voltage can be set to 24 V DC or 12 V DC at the magnet.

Please note when ordering: In addition to the integrated locking signal, an additional door contact is required.
