The flush-mounted switching and measuring actuator allows for convenient switching of connected consumers via local control or radio, while simultaneously capturing, analyzing, and linking energy consumption data of the connected device. Note: This is a kit that needs to be assembled! The actuator can switch resistive loads with a maximum power of 1150 W both traditionally via a wall switch and through the free Homematic IP app or via Homematic CCU2, while also measuring the respective consumption. It is possible to evaluate the mains voltage, current and power consumption of the connected load, as well as the mains frequency. Thanks to its compact design, the switching and measuring actuator fits easily into standard flush-mounted boxes. Existing switches can be replaced with just a few simple steps, provided that a neutral conductor is present in the flush-mounted box alongside the phase. The integrated measuring function allows for reliable detection of switched-on consumers, enabling the switching and measuring actuator to be used in existing cross and toggle circuits. Additionally, a week timer program that can be configured in a central unit or the HmIP app can be reliably stored in the actuator, which will still operate even if there is no connection to the central unit or access point due to radio control. Through appropriate linking in the CCU2/CCU3, the actuator's control buttons can also be used to send switching commands, allowing the actuator to serve as a transmitter that controls other actuators via the CCU2/CCU3. Due to numerous available adapter plates and the 55 mm grid, the actuator can also be integrated into many common switch designs. Switching capacity is 5 A/1150 W, with a relay changeover contact. Manual switching directly on the device is possible.
