Motorized blind systems offer expanded shading control options compared to roller shutters, as they feature adjustable slats that can specifically deflect or direct sunlight. The Homematic IP blind actuator is installed invisibly in a switch/device box and can be operated both locally via externally connectable toggle switches and conveniently via radio and the Homematic IP Access Point using any Homematic IP sender, the Homematic IP app, or a Homematic central unit (CCU). Numerous programming options are available, such as time controls, which can vary throughout the year (astro function/brightness control), climate control functions, positioning to specific locations and slat angles, calibration runs, etc. By being housed in a switch box, an existing installation line can continue to operate without modification. This compact flush-mounted blind actuator is designed to control blind/venetian blind drives with a power consumption of up to 500 W. It allows for visually invisible installation in a switch/device box, for example, behind standard toggle installation switches in a deep switch box. Comfortable configuration and linking are possible through the Homematic IP app (Homematic IP Access Point required) or Smart Home central units (CCU2/3, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, or partner solutions). Extensive configuration options are available for adapting to individual opening times.
