Whether for security applications or automatic and manual light control, this Homematic IP motion detector with a 2-channel radio transmitter is extremely versatile and serves as a convenient replacement for traditional light switches. Note: This is a kit that still needs to be assembled! With this flat 55 mm installation device, you can discreetly solve multiple tasks in home technology. The device houses a 2-channel radio wall transmitter for controlling Homematic IP actuators, such as switching lights, a subtly flat motion detector, and a twilight sensor. The motion detector can be flexibly used both as a security sensor (it is recommended to power it with the Homematic IP power supply for the brand switch HmIP-BPS) and for automating room lighting, and can also be combined with manual light switching. The integrated twilight sensor in the motion detector can be used via the Homematic IP app both in conjunction with the motion detector (restricting its activity to darkness only) and independently for use in the smart home system. The motion detector reliably detects movements (up to 6 m, detection angle: 110°) and ambient brightness through the integrated twilight sensor. The 2-channel radio transmitter features 2 buttons for controlling other Homematic IP devices, allowing for example the switching on or off of light sources or the activation or deactivation of eco mode in heating control. Simple programming via the Homematic IP app (Homematic IP Access Point required). Flexible surface mounting using the included adhesive strips or screws.
