The ELV-LW-GPS1 is a stand-alone GPS tracker that is highly versatile. It transmits movement alerts and precise location data via an integrated acceleration sensor in various configurable modes over the extensive LoRaWAN network, without any ongoing costs.

This stand-alone GPS tracker is a fully operational location system consisting of an acceleration sensor, a contact interface, a GNSS module for positioning, and a LoRaWAN module. The latter sends the collected data over LoRaWAN, which is free of ongoing costs and already covers large areas in many countries. Compared to GSM trackers, users save on connection and usage fees, ensuring long-term operation.

An integrated acceleration sensor detects movement or stillness of the monitored object based on configuration and activates positioning via the GNSS module as well as data transmission via LoRaWAN. Additionally, a contact interface can trigger the positioning and transmission.

The module can be operated independently and only requires a connection to a power supply within a wide range of 5-40 V. This allows it to be directly connected to 12 V or 24 V onboard systems of vehicles. The module's behavior can be configured within wide limits, for example, to exclude temporary movement caused by wind as a reason for an alarm.
