These steel storage containers are designed for the safe storage of damaged and defective lithium-ion batteries or rechargeable lithium-ion batteries both indoors and outdoors. They feature a robust construction made of galvanized steel sheet with stacking corners. The lockable lid has a spring mechanism and a handle, and there is a removable inner container with a height of 100 mm.

The patented filling material PyroBubbles® (silica granulate) between the inner and outer containers offers excellent fire protection due to its smothering and cooling effect.

Please note: Currently, there are no approval guidelines from the DIBt Berlin. The design of the container is based on the data sheet from the insurance companies regarding the handling of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Approvals for storage containers for rechargeable lithium-ion batteries can only be applied for at a later date.
