Exide Powerfit S312/2.3S lead battery is a 12 Volt battery with a capacity of 2100mAh and Faston 4.8mm contacts. This maintenance-free and firmly sealed PB lead battery is suitable as a replacement for the Varta accu-cf, designed for standby and cyclic use (12V 12.3Ah/20HR). It is compatible with various hazard detection systems and all batteries of the same design.

These sealed, rechargeable VRLA batteries have the electrolyte fixed in a glass-fibre fleece, providing excellent energy storage properties and reliability. They are maintenance-free (no water refill) for their entire service life, with a design life of 5 years at an ambient temperature of 20°C (80% residual capacity). The grid plates are made of lead-calcium alloy, ensuring extremely low gassing due to an internal gas recombination rate of 99%. The batteries have a low self-discharge rate (approximately 3% per month at 20°C) and are deep discharge proof according to DIN 43 539 T5. There are no transport restrictions for ready-to-use blocks by rail, road, sea, or air, and they are fully recyclable.
