Pneumatic cylinder ADN ISO 21287 - Flexible cushioning. FESTO ADN series compact pneumatic cylinders are up to 50% smaller than standard pneumatic cylinders for maximum productivity in limited space. These double-acting pneumatic actuators have two ports for compressed air to extend and retract the piston rod. The ADN series' wide range of stroke lengths and bore sizes can be configured for a variety of applications.

The ADN series is a double-acting actuator to which air is applied to extend and retract the piston in a linear motion to the desired stroke length. Magnetic piston rods provide non-contact position sensing via a proximity sensor mounted in slots along the cylinder body. Cylinders feature flexible polymer end cushioning to reduce noise and vibration, extend service life, and increase production and productivity.

Features and benefits include meeting the ISO 21287 standard, slots for flush mounting of proximity sensors, low friction for durable operation, and cushioning that requires no adjustment to save time and cost.

ADN series pneumatic actuators can be mounted horizontally or vertically to suit the application. Optional mounting accessories provide additional flexibility, allowing the cylinder to be mounted with a swivel mount for free movement, a foot mount for support with heavy loads, or a combination with other actuators for even more mobility.
