Compact DFM guide cylinders. Festo DFM guide cylinders are available in various sizes to suit many applications. The robust and precise design is maintenance-free and highly resistant to torque and lateral external forces. DFM series guide actuators feature flexible cushioning plates for quiet operation and extended life. Fully integrated mounting for proximity sensors and a choice of supply port locations. DFM guide cylinders are available with plain bearing or rotating ball bearing guides. Plain bearing units feature two large guide rods and four plain bearings for excellent lateral forces. Rotating ball bearing units are ideal for applications where torque loads are present.
