Profile cylinder of the DSBC series – adjustable pneumatic damping. The Festo profile pneumatic cylinder of the DSBC series offers excellent performance and long service life. It features a stainless steel piston rod with external and internal thread options. A wide range of accessories allows for the installation of DSBC cylinders practically anywhere. Adjustable pneumatic damping. Cylinders of type PPV with adjustable damping absorb energy at the end positions by deliberately creating and releasing an air cushion. This enables a high level of energy absorption while simultaneously reducing noise. The manual adjustment screw allows for fine-tuning for specific applications.

Application Information:
The DSBC pneumatic cylinders with self-adjusting damping are equipped with a special damping piston as an extension of the main piston. This relatively long damping piston builds up an air cushion in the connection cap before the end position. Due to this energy-absorbing method, these cylinders are ideal for medium to heavy loads and high-speed applications.
