T-slot proximity sensors of the SMT/SME-8M series. Festo T-slot proximity sensors of the SMD/SME-8M series are fully compatible with all Festo cylinders with T-slots. The SME/SMD series provides a reliable sensing solution in a variety of switching options. Robust central mounting ensures that the sensor is securely screwed into the slot. Vibration, shock, and high tensile forces applied to the cable will not cause the sensor to come loose or malfunction. All sensors come standard with cables suitable for use in energy chains and with robots, ensuring maximum reliability and process safety.
