Round profile cylinders of the DSNU series – adjustable pneumatic cushioning. The Festo round profile pneumatic cylinder of the DSNU series offers excellent performance and long service life. It features a stainless steel piston rod with external and internal thread options. A wide range of accessories allows for the installation of DSNU cylinders practically anywhere. Adjustable pneumatic cushioning. Cylinders of type PPV with adjustable cushioning absorb energy at the end positions by intentionally creating and releasing an air cushion. This enables a high level of energy absorption while simultaneously reducing noise. The manual adjustment screw allows for fine-tuning for each specific application.

Application information: The DSNU pneumatic cylinders with self-adjusting cushioning are equipped with a special cushioning piston as an extension of the main piston. This relatively long cushioning piston builds up an air cushion in the connection cap before the end position. Due to this energy-absorbing method, these cylinders are ideal for medium to heavy loads and high-speed applications.
