Catch and release!
The live trap is loaded with a tasty bait such as nut nougat cream, chocolate, cheese, etc. and well placed. After a while the animal goes into the cage and the door snaps shut. This way you catch the troublemaker alive and can release the animal outside. Place the trap on one of the animal's walking paths. Placement parallel to the wall is perfect.
Check the cage at regular intervals on it!.
