The Gearwrench Boltbiter impact screwdrivers offer the comfort of a standard screwdriver with the extraction capabilities of a specialized impact driver to loosen rusted, damaged, or otherwise difficult-to-remove screws. The end cap of the high-performance steel handle transmits the impact to an internal mechanism that rotates the shaft made of heat-treated alloy steel by 12 degrees with each strike. The high-strength tips are nickel-chromed and resistant to rust.
