GESIPA Blind Rivet Nuts

General Information

Terminology

The setting head is the part of the blind rivet nut that rests on the visible side of the component. The user has the option to choose from the following variants:

• Flat head - for a large contact area on the component
• Small head - for minimal protrusion of the blind rivet nut, resulting in an almost flush seating of the assembly part
• Countersunk head - for flat surfaces in countersunk holes

The shank is the part of the blind rivet nut that deforms during the setting process and fixes the blind rivet nut in the component. This creates the so-called closing head. The user can choose from the following variants: Round, knurled, or polygonal (hexagonal or square)

The Material

The customer can obtain the blind rivet nut application-specific in steel, aluminum, or stainless steel (A2, A4).

The Thread

By default, GESIPA blind rivet nuts are equipped with metric threads, with the steel blind rivet nuts meeting the requirements of strength class 8.8. Upon request, additional dimensions, such as imperial or coarse threads, are available.
