This FI safety socket is a fixed protective device with voltage-independent residual current disconnection according to VDE 0664. Its operating principle is similar to that of a residual current circuit breaker. Installation is done in a deep device box. The increased touch protection (Safety Plus) complies with DIN VDE 0620-1.
