The solid-forged rotary splitting wedge enables a high splitting effect due to the optimal twist of 20° and is effective even on knotty wood. The striking plate is ground and features an edge break. Despite its weight of 3,100g, the recessed grips on the sides ensure safe handling and positioning of the wedge in the wood to be split. Slanted grooves prevent the wedge from jumping back, even in frozen wood. The wedge is powder-coated orange for easy visibility. A practical box made of special plastic allows for safe transport. It can be optimally used in combination with the SIMPLEX splitting hammer, SIMPLEX sledge hammers, and flails.
