The wooden handles of the 3244 series made from hickory wood are ergonomically shaped and lacquered. They are used with SIMPLEX striking hammers featuring ductile iron housings in sizes D60mm to D140mm. The handles for the striking hammers D60mm and D80mm are 700mm long, while the handle for sizes D100mm, D125mm, and D140mm is 900mm long. Hickory is a very long-fibered wood, which contributes to the great stability of the handles. Additionally, the handles never break completely apart; instead, both pieces remain connected. This prevents injuries from dislodged hammer heads. In accordance with the clever SIMPLEX principle, the handles are also retrofittable. This not only saves money but also conserves resources.
