For highest torque values, this 1000 Nm torque wrench weighs only about 10 kg. The actuating force is only 590 N (60 kg) at 1000 Nm. The length of the ratchet shaft is 885 mm, and the handle measures 969 mm. It has an accuracy of ± 3% of the scale value (6170-1CT ± 4%) in the direction of actuation for right-hand tightening. For left-hand tightening, use our torque wrenches with an insert tool.
This tool is suitable for industrial climbers and can be used on wind turbines, in dockyards, in the aviation industry, and in heavy industry, as well as on commercial vehicles. It can be disassembled into two parts (6170-1CT: three parts) with a release tool. A bag is included for safe storage and for carrying or wearing on your back. Fast screw tightening is also possible with the ratchet shaft.
For torque tightening, always use the complete wrench. Safety features include haptic feedback (close-gap release), audible signals (click sound), and visual indicators (models with signal transmitter). The 2-component handle improves grip, and there is a simplified locking mechanism for adjusting the torque value. A viewing window allows for visual checking of the locking, and there are four colored coding rings (red, yellow, green, black) for personalization or special workflows.
The wrench comes with a calibration certificate and serial number, complying with DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017, DIN 3120, ISO 1174-1. Made in Germany, it has a square output of solid 20 mm (3/4 inch) and dimensions of 1789 mm in length. The net weight is 10 kg, with a torque range of 400 - 1000 Nm and a tolerance of 3%. The scale graduation is 5 Nm, and the actuating force ranges from 24.2 to 61.0 kg. It features 32 teeth (opening angle 11.25°), a head thickness of 36 mm, and a head width of 77 mm. Continuous long-term tests on the 5000 series and 6000 series of HAZET torque wrenches have demonstrated that turning them back to the smallest scale value is not required.
