The HECO-TOPIX-plus Therm is specifically designed for the processing of flexible insulating materials. With its two threads, it allows for a distance screw connection, where the underhead thread secures the counter batten. Forces acting on it, such as wind suction and pressure loads, are exclusively transferred through the thread from the counter batten and directed into the rafter. This prevents the counter batten from being pressed into the insulation material. Compared to conventional fastening options, the HECO-TOPIX-plus Therm offers advantages in processing and material usage. In combination with the HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect, it forms another system for efficient facade and roof insulation. In this system, the occurring shear forces are absorbed using a shear wood in conjunction with the HECO-TOPIX-plus CombiConnect. This system also requires significantly fewer fastening points than conventional solutions.
