Homematic IP LED Interface for Digital Electricity Meters
Capture and utilize the electricity consumption from intermediate meters smartly. With the Homematic IP LED interface for digital electricity meters, you are always informed about the electricity consumption in your home or the feed-in values of your PV system. The interface allows you to keep track of the electricity consumption in areas of your home where you have installed an intermediate meter. The electricity fed in by a PV system can also be recorded with the LED interface at the respective intermediate meter. Through the Homematic IP app, the data from the intermediate meter is displayed in real-time and retrospectively, and the use of the measurement values for smart scenarios is also possible.
Installation
The Homematic IP interface is easily attached to the designated position on the intermediate meter with the reading head. The connection can be removed without leaving any residue, making it suitable for rental apartments as well. Subsequently, the interface is integrated into the Smart Home system via the Homematic IP app – done!
Read electricity consumption via smartphone
All recorded consumption data from the Homematic IP interface for digital meters is fully transferred to the Homematic IP app. This allows you to easily read the current and past electricity consumption at any time. All meter readings and the current power are transmitted. A smart highlight: Through the continuous measurement of power values, any smart scenarios can be triggered. If the Homematic IP interface for digital electricity meters detects that electricity is being fed in by a PV system, this produced electricity can be effectively utilized with a connected Homematic IP actuator.
