The flush-mounted dimmer allows for dimming and switching on or off many dimmable LEDs, dimmable energy-saving lamps, low-voltage halogen lamps, high-voltage halogen lamps, and incandescent bulbs. The dimmer is particularly suitable for dimming smaller loads, such as those typically represented by LED lighting. The phase-cut dimmer, designed with modern circuit technology, operates silently compared to older dimmers. It enables dimming and switching on or off of many dimmable LEDs, dimmable energy-saving lamps, low-voltage halogen lamps, high-voltage halogen lamps, and incandescent bulbs up to 80 VA. Optimized for modern light sources, it is especially suitable for small loads starting from 3 VA. Connected lights can be dimmed in nearly continuous 0.5% steps via the Homematic IP app. It has low standby power consumption and a compact design for easy installation in flush-mounted boxes or surface-mounted distribution boxes for use in basements or outdoor areas. Tool-free terminals allow for particularly easy installation. Comfortable control is available through the Homematic IP app or via the Homematic IP remote control. It can be operated with the access point in conjunction with the Homematic IP app, the Homematic Central CCU2, or the Smart Home Central CCU3. Voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is possible. Operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with a free smartphone app and free cloud service, Central CCU2/CCU3 with a local user interface, WebUI, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, or third-party partner solutions.
