Expand your Homematic IP system into a security system for your home – the motion detector reliably detects movements in the room. This allows you to use the Homematic IP motion detector for burglary protection, as well as to automatically control the lighting. The integrated twilight sensor ensures that the latter only occurs in darkness.

The compact PIR motion detector has a range of up to 12 meters and a detection angle of 105°. The thresholds for controlling lighting via Homematic IP are infinitely adjustable. If used for light control, the duration of illumination after motion detection can be adjusted infinitely in the Homematic IP app.

You will receive a push notification via the Homematic IP app on your smartphone or tablet as soon as movements are detected (when full protection is activated in the Homematic IP app). The motion detector can be used simultaneously for light control and as part of a security solution with motion detection.

It can be flexibly positioned, either with a stand or mounted on a wall, ceiling, or in corners. An integrated tamper contact alerts you via the app as soon as an attempt is made to dismantle the motion detector.

The high battery life due to low power consumption lasts up to 3 years. The wireless range is up to 280 meters (in open field). The motion detector is suitable for use in dry rooms (protection class IP20) and is compatible with Homematic IP via the Access Point or with the Homematic Central CCU2/CCU3.

Operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with a free smartphone app and free cloud service, stand-alone in conjunction with a wireless underfloor heating controller, Central CCU2/CCU3 with local user interface WebUI, or wireless modules for Raspberry Pi.

Additional functions when operated via the Homematic Central CCU2 or Smart Home Central CCU3 are available, including a configurable brightness filter and an activatable eco mode that allows brightness-dependent transmission.
