The in-wall roller shutter actuator, which can be easily integrated into existing installation lines, is an extremely versatile automation and remote control solution for roller shutters and awnings powered by tubular motors. The actuator can be fitted into all common installation designs via adapters and is operated on-site using the original switch buttons. It can be controlled remotely via Access Point using the Homematic IP app, the Homematic IP remote control, the Homematic central unit CCU3, as well as through many partner solutions.

It is suitable for all common tubular motors up to 500 VA. Relay output includes 1x changeover and 1x normally closed contact. Individual configuration of a weekly profile allows for time-controlled raising and lowering of roller shutters and awnings. Comfortable control based on sunrise and sunset is possible. Lockout, storm, and heat protection can be implemented in combination with the Homematic IP app and other components.

Easy commissioning is ensured thanks to automatic calibration runs. Its compact design allows for installation in standard flush-mounted boxes. Integration into existing switch series is possible by using existing frames and buttons. With the appropriate adapter, it can be integrated into the most common designs of leading switch manufacturers: Busch-Jaeger, Gira, Merten, Berker, Jung, düwi, Kopp.

A neutral conductor must be present for installation. Voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant is possible (Homematic IP Access Point required). It is compatible with common mechanical and electronic tubular motors. ELV has tested the seamless operation of the following tubular motors with the Homematic IP actuator: LIFTEO, Selve SEL Plus, Schellenberg STANDARD, and Schellenberg PLUS.

Operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with a free smartphone app and free cloud service, central unit CCU3 with local user interface WebUI, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, third-party partner solutions. Note: Central unit CCU2 is not supported.
