The particularly compact switch socket allows for convenient control of connected devices via radio. For example, electric heaters can be integrated into the Homematic IP heating control system and managed through the system's electronic wall thermostat. The compact design of the switch socket, which simply plugs into a standard outlet, ensures that no switches or additional sockets are blocked in multiple combinations, allowing the device to blend seamlessly into your smart home.
It enables precise control of electric heaters when paired with a Homematic IP wall thermostat. It can also be used optionally to extend the range of the radio signal. In a security application, the device automatically activates an indoor siren or alarm light in the event of an alarm.
Comfortable voice control of connected devices, such as floor lamps, is available with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant (Homematic IP Access Point required). Manual operation: Devices can also be turned on and off directly at the unit.
Easy installation: mounted quickly and without tools. Low standby power consumption. Thanks to its compact design, the switch socket does not block surrounding outlets.
Compatible with the Access Point in conjunction with the Homematic IP app (no follow-up costs), the Smart Home Central CCU3, and many partner solutions. Operation requires connection to one of the following solutions: Homematic IP Access Point with free smartphone app and free cloud service, Smart Home Central CCU3 with local user interface WebUI, radio modules for Raspberry Pi, third-party partner solutions.
Additional features when operated via the Smart Home Central CCU3: Logical linking options for virtual actuator channels are available, and the action profile of the device button can be freely configured.
Application examples: When motion is detected by a motion sensor, a floor lamp is turned on via the switchable socket.
