The small hoist is a portable lifting device with a continuous rope that fulfills all functions of a manually operated rope hoist or block under a variety of operating conditions. Its uniqueness lies in the rope pulling principle. The rope is not wound onto a drum like in blocks or conventional winches, but is moved in a straight line through two clamping jaws that can be operated by hand, allowing it to be pulled or guided during lowering. The mechanism is self-locking. The force is transmitted through a retractable, removable lever arm to the operating levers (forward or backward). The device is equipped with a stopping means (hook) that allows for quick attachment to any fixed point with sufficient load capacity.
