Tillandsias are highly adaptable plants and can thrive for several years with the right care. They generally do well in various locations but prefer a bright spot. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as excessive heat can cause too much moisture to be lost. A good option is a place in the bathroom, where the humidity is higher. Naturally, warm and humid terrariums are ideal.

The most important aspect of caring for Tillandsias is providing regular moisture through misting. The goal is to replicate the humid rainforest climate with 90% humidity. In summer, the plants should be misted about twice a week, while in winter, it may be necessary to mist them more often due to drier heating air. Under no circumstances should the plant sit in water, as this can lead to rot. For the same reason, no water should accumulate in the plant itself.
