Short and lightweight chisel, according to DIN 5142, with a flattened beechwood handle. The cherry wood chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. They have a hardness of ± HRc 61 along the entire usable length of the blade, which is well above the DIN standard, and produce a smooth cut due to their flawlessly polished surface. The chisels are factory-sharpened with a cutting angle of 25°, making them suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. We recommend honing the edge of our chisels with a sharpening stone before the first use.
