The Knipex Alligator 88 01 180 SB offers good access to the workpiece thanks to its slim head and joint area. Compared to conventional water pump pliers of the same length, it provides more power and comfort, featuring a 9-position adjustment that allows for a 30% higher gripping capacity. The self-locking mechanism on pipes and screws prevents slipping and requires minimal hand force. The gripping surfaces are equipped with specially hardened teeth that have a hardness of about 61 HRC, ensuring high wear resistance and a stable grip. The box joint design enhances stability through double guidance. Its robust construction is dirt-repellent, making it particularly suitable for outdoor work. A pinch protection feature is included to prevent the user's fingers from getting caught.
