Step 1: Set the drill depth. Slide the stop collar onto the drill bit. Place the pilot tip of the drill bit on the depth stop in the housing and lock the drill bit into the depth gauge so that the stop collar sits in the recess marked for the thickness of the workpiece. Press the drill firmly against the depth stop and align the stop collar with the mark that corresponds to the thickness of your workpiece. Secure the stop collar with the hex key included with the jig.

Step 2: Adjust the position sliders. To adjust the jig so that the screw exits in the center of the workpiece, turn the jig around so that the base faces up. Press the ribbed bar on each slider with your thumb and slide it until the mark on the slider that corresponds to the thickness of the workpiece aligns with the arrow on the main piece of the jig.
