ÖLFLEX®408 P cables are VDE certified connection and control cables designed for occasional movement as well as fixed installation under moderate mechanical stress. They are suitable for use in dry, damp, and wet environments. Outdoors, they may only be used while adhering to the specified temperature ranges. At room temperature, they are largely resistant to the effects of acids, alkalis, and certain oils. The outer sheath withstands high mechanical stress, particularly abrasion and wear, is cut-resistant, microbe-resistant, and hydrolysis-resistant. They are suitable for free and non-continuous movement without tensile stress or forced guidance. Applications include connection and control cables for control systems in machine tools, conveyor systems, production lines, assembly and flow lines, as well as for measurement and control technology and data processing systems.
