The LOCTITE thread sealant is a highly effective sealing compound specifically designed for sealing large threads up to M80 R 3". This single-component, anaerobic curing product is ideal for applications in hydraulic, pneumatic, and water pipelines. Its gel-like viscosity allows for easy application, while the rapid curing is ensured even on passive surfaces and at low temperatures. The medium-strength sealant is removable with standard tools, providing flexible handling. The thread sealant offers immediate sealing at low pressure loads and is SVGW approved for gas as well as NSF registered (P1). It is important to avoid use in combination with high-alloy copper connections for hot water above +40°C.
