Product details

Li-ion battery from the XGT series with a maximum of 40 V and a capacity of 2.5 Ah. Charged to 80% in 19 minutes and fully charged in 28 minutes with the DC40RA charger. Four green LEDs indicate the remaining capacity of the battery. The battery housing is designed for tough job site use and meets the IP64 protection standard. The Makita XGT series sets new standards and expands the applications of battery-operated machines that were previously reserved for corded machines. The 40 V max. class complements the proven 18 V LXT product line and offers users a solution that handles particularly power-intensive tasks. The batteries are specifically designed to deliver higher discharge currents. This ensures they withstand demanding conditions and continuously provide maximum power. The internal battery cells are further protected against dust and water. The improved shock-absorbing housing makes the batteries even more robust and safe. Through digital communication between the battery, the machine, and the charger, optimal performance of all three components is achieved. This digital communication also results in noticeably longer run times per battery charge, depending on the application.
