The brushless motor of Makita's Brushless Technology provides greater endurance, a longer lifespan, and a more compact housing. A restart protection prevents unintentional starts after changing the battery, and an integrated LED warns of decreasing battery voltage and overload. The motor is also protected by an overload protection feature. Additionally, the machine features a soft start. The durable 5.0 Ah battery offers 25% longer runtime compared to the 4.0 Ah battery.
