Product description: With the new DC18SF charger, four Makita batteries can be connected to the charger simultaneously. Thanks to intelligent sensors, the charger only starts charging the batteries once they have reached the appropriate charging temperature. This significantly extends the lifespan of the Li-Ion batteries. The so-called Multi Charger features two separate connection pairs, each charging two batteries in succession. The hassle of unplugging and re-plugging the batteries after each charging cycle, along with the associated time loss, is a thing of the past. Makita enables the charging of four batteries in a short time (e.g., 4 BL1860 batteries in 4.4 hours).
