Nevertheless, we must point out as a precaution that a stretched roof is not suitable for storms, heavy rain, hail, snow, tornadoes, and volcanic eruptions. Thanks to the integrated drainage eyelets, rainwater cannot accumulate on the roof and lead to unwanted flash floods. Thus, the pergola is even better prepared for rain showers. As a general rule, we recommend that the roof be taken down before major rain showers. We must also point out that the cover must be dismantled in case of snow, as the roof struts are not designed for this load. The pergola is mounted with screws made of steel, which cannot be powder coated. Therefore, they will rust over time under normal weather conditions. However, this rust is usually only visible when the roof is dismantled. If this is a problem, you can easily remove the rust with a commercially available rust remover. The side on which the fabric panels can be pulled down is 3m long. Note: Please do not wash the cover. The fabric should only be wiped clean.
