Important note: This privacy screen is also a windbreak to a certain extent. However, it should be used in wind-protected areas close to the house (e.g., patio). Due to its large surface area, a windbreak is not suitable as a garden fence and must not be left completely unprotected outdoors. The wind can develop very high forces here, especially when gusts of wind are coming up. If you intend to do this, you can fasten the screen with a storm anchor. The storm anchor is driven into the ground below the surface and aligned. Due to the construction, a stable triangle is created, which secures the privacy fence well in stronger winds; however, this will not be able to help against gale-force winds.
